Privacy policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Time Clicker collects no personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no internet access. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What the app stores
To work, Time Clicker saves the following, only on your device, in the app's private storage:
- your tiles and groups (names, colours, icons, sizes, reminders);
- the date and time of each time you mark a tile as done;
- photos you choose as tile backgrounds (a copy is kept in the app's storage);
- your settings.
This data is never sent to the developer or to anyone else. The app does not request the internet permission, so it cannot send anything over the network.
Permissions
- Notifications: asked for only when you set a reminder on a tile, to remind you when something hasn't been done for a while.
- Run at startup: sets your reminders again after the phone restarts.
Photos are picked with Android's photo picker, which gives the app only the photos you select, without access to the rest of your library.
Backups and exports
- Android backup: if backup is turned on in your phone's settings, Android may include the app's data in your device backup to your Google account. This is handled by Android and Google under Google's privacy policy; the developer has no access to it. You can turn it off in your phone's settings.
- Export: the app can export all its data as a
.zipfile. The file goes only where you choose to save or share it.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, crash reporting or tracking code. Links in the app (such as this website or the open-source credits) open in your browser, where that website's own policy applies.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Delete tiles in the app, or clear the app's storage or uninstall it to remove all its data from your device.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
